Management.

Home Management is the core Maret Lane service - a retained relationship rather than a booking. Two visits a week, around five hours of focused household work, on a steady rhythm that stays the same from week to week. Same person every time.

The aim isn't to work through a list of tasks. The aim is that after a month, the household runs without being held together by the person who's been holding it together.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

A steady rhythm
across the whole week.

The reset

The kitchen, bedrooms and main living areas get brought back to a calm baseline. Not a deep clean - a light, thorough reset. The kind that makes the home feel ready for the evening.

Laundry, handled

Washing, drying, folding, returning. The baskets stay empty. The clothes stay in circulation. This is the single biggest weight most of our clients want taken off them, and it's often what tells them the service is working.

Errands

Groceries collected, returns made, dry cleaning run, scripts picked up. Within reason, the things that quietly eat weekday afternoons.

The admin of the week

The school form. The tradie waiting. The parcel to the post office. The thing that nobody has time for. Each visit carries some flex for what the week actually throws up.

A steady eye on the household

Noticing that the cleaning products are low before you do. Tracking that how things could be better planned. The small operational noticing that stops things becoming problems.

WHAT'S NOT

—  Deep cleaning, bond cleans, or post-renovation cleans

Honest about what sits
outside of our scope.

—  Childcare or school pickups

—  Managing tradespeople or renovation projects

—  Personal shopping, styling or lifestyle concierge

Maret Lane isn't a cleaner, a PA, a concierge or a project manager. Specifically, we don't do:

—  Inbox or diary management

—  Same-day or reactive work

If what you're looking for sits mostly in that list, it's worth saying so on the call - we'll have a quick chat and, where we can, point you towards someone better suited.

THE COMMERCIAL SIDE

A retained relationship, not a booking.

Maret Lane works on a retained monthly basis at a rate of $160 per hour. The standard offer - two visits a week, around five hours weekly - is where most households land. Heavier households run a little higher, lighter households lower.

 

We'll know which shape suits your home within a short phone call.

Invoiced monthly, in advance. A three-month minimum to let the rhythm settle, and month-to-month after that.

BEYOND THE RETAINED SERVICE

Two smaller offers, by conversation.

For existing retained clients first, and occasionally for others where there's space - Maret Lane also offers focused Home Reset sessions for a specific space that needs attention, and discreet Away Care when you're out of town. Both are quoted on a short call.
